Mary Ann Cowart, MD
Doctor Cowart was born in Jackson, Mississippi and graduated from Canton High School with high honors. She attended the Mississippi University for Women and matriculated with honors prior to attending the University of Mississippi Medical School in Jackson, Mississippi. After finishing an Internal Medicine internship she stayed in Jackson and completed her residency in Radiology serving as chief resident in 1980. She then pursued fellowship training in Computed Tomography and Ultrasound at the University of Florida. Her special interests include Computed Tomography (CAT scan), Ultrasound and Breast Imaging.
