Charles A. Ray III, MD
A native of Meridian, Doctor Ray completed his undergraduate work at the
University of Southern Mississippi and Emory University in Atlanta. A 1965
graduate of the University of Mississippi Medical Center, he did his internship
at Georgia Baptist Hospital in Atlanta and also was commissioned at the United
States Air Force Hospital in Goose Bay, Labrador. Doctor Ray completed his
Radiology residency at the University Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi,
where he served as chief resident in 1973. A member of the
Society of Cardiovascular & Interventional Radiology (SCVIR), he has
earned a Certificate of Added Qualification in Vascular and Interventional
Radiology. Well respected throughout the region for his expertise in
interventional radiology, he recently helped spearhead the stent-graft aneurysm
repair program at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
